Lucid's Spooky Blend - Espresso/Filter

Lucid's first ever blend and no better time to come up with something that tastes perfect during this time of year!

We have chosen two great coffees, both are available on their own but after a lot of tasting and playing around with the roast profiles we found these gave us the best flavour profile to kick start that Autumn feeling! 

The label comes from or Friend Alice from Ferns & pen who we have loved working with this year and this time coming up with a fun, little scary sticker that also GLOWS IN THE DARK!!

We chose coffees that pair well together and create a coffee that gives us notes of Toffee apple, Chocolate orange, brown spice and a hint of hazelnuts but that it works well over various different brew methods, perfect for the home espresso people, french press, batch brew and other filter methods too!

The blend is made up of 50% China Fuyan Natural Catimor and 50% Brazil Mio Atacali Honey Gesha. 

Pairing them together gave such a balanced and tasty profile, full bodied, loads of sweetness and flavours that work really well for all rounder type of coffee, not just for Halloween but for the whole colder season that is incoming, or until It all runs out! 

The Chinese brings the spice, apple fruity, high sweetness and a juicy acidity and the Brazil brings those toffee/caramel notes as well as helping attribute to the full body and overall balance in the cup.
